In a game where metal washers are being thrown onto a wood surface, the board will get dented and chipped. Don’t fret – this is all part of the game! In fact, the more your Sinkhole boards get “broken in” the better the boards will play. The boards will become softer the longer that it is played on, improving the dynamics of the interaction between the washers and the playing surface.
We use sustainable redwood.
The beauty of Sinkhole is that it is compact enough to be used indoors. Obviously, space will have to be allotted to accommodate the tossing distance, and some care given to ensure the washers will not damage anything nearby.
Sinkhole can be played with two people, or as many as six (three on each team, or three teams of two). Typically, it is played as a 2, 3 or 4 person game.
